Williamstown has some of the oldest housing stock we work on. Victorian and Edwardian cottages, weatherboard homes on stumps, and a lot of original timber that has been in the ground a very long time. That combination is exactly what a termite inspection exists for.

On a home with a subfloor, most of the inspection happens down there: mud tubes on stumps and bearers, damp untreated timber, and poor ventilation that keeps the soil under the house wet through winter. It is a completely different job to a slab home out west, and it takes longer, because there is more to physically get into.
